When it comes to buying furniture, there are multiple choices available, from mass produced pieces from huge factories to custom designed, custom made handcrafted one of a kind pieces. The gap between price and quality can be extreme.
Montana Cabinet & Canoe is about as small as you can get and therefore, does not want to build furniture for the masses. However, what I can do is build your furnishings with your needs in mind and my commitment to quality. Although I find a simplistic beauty in the Arts and Crafts and Mission Styles, I can offer an array of styles and options from wood selections, stain colors, hardware choices, dovetailed drawers, hand cut or machine cut, depending on your preferences and budget considerations.
My pieces are of the highest quality and fairly priced. Whenever possible, I use FSC harvested wood, and I only bill you for the actual packing and shipping costs. There is no sales tax in Montana. If you have an idea, perhaps a photo or sketch of something you like and it needs to be a little wider, deeper, or taller “no worries”. Whether your preference is a Greene and Greene style in mahogany or a Bungalow style in quartersawn white oak, I will handcraft it with mortise and tenon and dovetail joints, the finest woods and finishes to last for generations.
